a. Technical Forum

o At yesterday’s TF, there was a good number of attendees, and the meeting was productive.
o No concerns were raised at the TF on the G4 work plan presented.
o User’s presentations came at the last minutes, and we need to follow them up. In particular, regarding the new requests, the following-up actions must be taken in 2-3 weeks.
o The 2012 work plan should be updated accordingly if necessary.
3. 2012 Release schedule

a. Releases of this year:
1. Beta minor release: geant4-09-06-beta - June 29th 2012
2. Minor release: geant4-09-06 - November 30th 2012
b. Simplified schedule for the Beta release of Geant4 scheduled for June 29th, 2012.
o June 8th: Tags submission deadline
- Final date for all categories for submission of tags to STT.
o June 15th
- End of Integration/System Testing
o June 15th - June 29th - Release phase
- QA and validation/GRID
- Libraries preparation and distribution
It is reminded that granular tagging well in advance to the deadline is a good practice.
**4. 2012 Collaboration meeting **
o Will happen early September (10th - 14th) in Chartres. The summer break has to be taken into account in the meeting preparation so that the program committee will be formed soon.
5. Spokesperson election
o There were 5 nominations, all going to Makoto Asai, and SB has endorsed his candidacy.
o The tally taker name will be known soon, and the vote of confidence will start then.
6. AOB
a. New automated integration test
o Gunter informs about automation of tests related to C-make integration. He will provide further details in a note.

b. Near future events
Conferences:
o CHEP : starts on the 21st of may
o The slides are to be available 3 weeks before, i.e. 1st of May, for slides approval.
o The same deadline applies to the posters.
o CALOR @ Santa-Fe in June
o Inform Publication Board if presentation is planned.
o PTCOG, and associated medical simulation meeting : Early September @ Nara, Japan.

Tutorials:
o Pablo advertised about tutorial in Italy: INFN software school and Geant4 lessons on June 28th, 2012
o The tutorial organized by NASA/MSFC on the 15-19th of April has turned to offer small number of external participation.
